World premiere of “Twelve Kinds of Ice” in Minneapolis at Children’s Theatre
Musical Written and Produced by Ben Steinfeld
Ellen Bryan Obed’s beloved book Twelve Kinds of Ice has been transformed into a new musical by Children’s Theatre Company in Minneapolis. Inspired by Ellen’s childhood winters, the story celebrates the many forms ice takes—from that first fragile skim to the perfect ice made for skating—and the family, imagination, and joy found along the way.
Ellen will be attending opening night on October 16.
The musical runs through November 22.
